We are extremely proud of the recent addition of yet another award for service excellence!
Easter is approaching fast (Easter Sunday, by the way, is 1st April), and for anyone planning a family visit to London during the break, it’s worth planning ahead. The shift in weather puts a spring in everyone’s step, and suddenly Londoners – as well as the flowers – come back to life. Tourist hotspots get busy again, and the very best experiences are hugely popular.
Whether you’re looking for plush pads or something more modest, the same rules apply: the good properties go fast. To say that the process is stressful is a big understatement, and if you’re moving to the area for the first time, it can quickly become overwhelming. But a serviced apartment on an extended stay basis can alleviate much of that stress – and here’s why.
Visitors to my serviced apartments in South-West London usually manage to squeeze a visit to the West-End into their busy schedules. The trouble is, how do you make the most of it when there is so much to see?
The serviced apartment sector is growing. It’s partly due to growing awareness – what we provide is still not universally known or understood. But as understanding builds, more people are appreciating what serviced apartments can give them that hotels can’t. Read on to find out what my reasons are for why serviced apartments are being chosen in place of hotels.
For Craven House, and the wider serviced apartment industry, 2017 was a great year. I can honestly say it was a year for awareness of serviced apartments and it’s also been a year of breakthroughs for us, with acclaimed awards, ever-improving customer reviews and more guests than ever.
Over recent years I have often accommodated people in our serviced apartments who’ve sadly suffered damages to their homes because of flooding – either from building problems, the washing machine leaking or from natural causes.
My serviced apartments in the beautiful Surrey village of Claygate are popular for many reasons – but above all, because they give business and leisure travellers the best of both worlds. And by that, I mean a genuine slice of English village life, just a short train journey away from central London. Bliss!
We are delighted to have been awarded the 2017 Rose Award from VisitEngland this week. The Rose Award is given to only 100 businesses per year for ‘Recognition of Service Excellence’ (ROSE) and as you can imagine, I, and the Craven House team are extremely proud.
