Craven House says Happy New Year!

Lucy Schiel January 4, 2017

I can’t quite believe we are now in 2017 – where has the time gone? But I can look back at 2016 with a great deal of pride in what Craven House has achieved, the wonderful guests we’ve welcomed as well as the events that we’ve been lucky enough to see.

We were once again host to many a guest attending the Hampton Court Flower Show back in July which is always such a lovely event to be near to. Being only a short walk away from Hampton Court Palace, this made our guests’ stay even better! We also saw the cyclists of the PrudentialRide London fly by and listened to some great performances at the Hampton Court Palace Music Festival! By the way, have you booked your tickets for this year’s Festival? The lineup looks great…
Throughout 2016, Craven House received several awards including operator and building accreditations from the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) as well as the VisitEngland GOLD Award – for the fifth time running! As you can imagine, we were thrilled when TripAdvisors Certificate of Excellence 2016 came through the door!awardsgroup
It makes me so proud to receive such awards especially when our housekeeping and customer service scores so highly. We really do pride ourselves on our can do attitude – nothing is too much trouble. Ensuring our guests have the most enjoyable, stress-free and comfortable stay is my number one priority and these awards truly reflect this.
For me however, the highlight of the year was celebrating 10 years of Craven House! I can still remember the day we moved in, right through to the day we decided refurbish the whole of the Craven House Collection into the stunning suites they are now. What a journey we’ve been on and I am really looking forward to what the next 10 years will bring.

And so, on to 2017. Time to plan, visit and explore!  From the stunning Hampton Flower Show yet again in July, to the Hampton Court Half Marathon in March, Sandown and Kempton Park race courses are but a drive away as is the beauty of the Surrey Hills with long walks and amazing views (you won’t want to forget the camera). And, of course, with the city of London only a short train journey away, there is plenty to see and do. Craven House really is perfectly located!
