As we approach the end of another year, we wanted to take a quick moment to thank all our lovely visitors who have stayed with us in Surrey over the past few months. Whether it was a short staycation, a longer stint while you renovated or looked for a home or a business trip, it’s been a pleasure having you and yours here.
Giving Back Together
This year, your stays have helped us give back to a cause that is really close to our hearts. We’re proud to share that Craven House has donated £500 to Children in Need this festive season. They’re doing incredible and vital work to support young people and families across the UK and it’s an honour to do what we can to support them.
Choosing to stay at Craven House means you’re not only enjoying our luxury serviced apartments, the home-away-from-home feel, and the convenience of our local area, you’re also helping to make a difference in the lives of so many children. We’re really grateful that, for another year, we’ve had the chance to partner with you in that, so thank you.
Festive fun in South West London
If you’re staying with us over the festive season, you’re in for a treat as there is so much happening locally! Hampton Court Palace Ice Skating is on daily from the 21st of December to the 5th of January. It’s surely one of the most picturesque ice rinks in the country if you fancy a bracing skate around the ice with your family. Once you’ve worn yourself out skating, enjoy festive drinks and snacks in the Après Skate Café!
For those venturing a little further, Kingston Christmas Market is another local gem. Tucked into the historic marketplace, it’s always buzzing with festivities, complete with cozy wooden chalets, delicious treats, and live entertainment.
If you fancy a trot into London, perhaps to see a show or some of the Christmas lights, the Southbank Centre has their Winter Market running until just after Christmas. It’s a short stroll from Waterloo Station, which is where your train will come in to from Hampton Court. After something a little more ‘buzzy’? Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is always a good option for food, games, rides and more. Remember to book tickets and get there early because it can get very busy.
Looking Ahead
As we bid 2024 goodbye we want to say ‘thanks’ once more for everything you’ve been a part of this year. Every stay, message and moment is important to us. We’re excited for 2025 and look forward to seeing many of you for the first, second and third time!
