September was an incredibly busy month for Craven House. Following our 10 year celebrations, the Association of Serviced Apartments Providers visited Craven House as part of their Quality Accreditation Programme.
Launched in 2014, this programme is the leading global quality assessment, reporting, recognition and accreditation system for the serviced apartment, corporate housing and executive suites sectors of the hospitality industry. ASAP Quality Accreditation ensures members of the ASAP who have been accredited are compliant with core compliance of legal, health and safety requirements and good practice as well as a measurement and comparison of quality and the overall guest experience.
Why is it so important?
The Quality Accreditation programme provides the industry with a means of measuring and comparing the quality of Serviced Apartments globally. In addition:
- The Quality Accreditation Marque indicates achievement in the areas of core industry legal, health and safety practices and requirement
- Validating the guest experience objectively informs clients and guests that their expectations will be me
- It enables the guest to be able to ‘stay with confidence’.
Craven House gets top marks!
Following a thorough inspection, we were thrilled that Craven House in Hampton Court was granted with both Quality Accredited Operator UK status and Quality Accredited Building status!
Achieving pretty much top marks all around, here’s a snippet of what the ASAP said about us:
“The property appears to be presented to a high standard of structural repair and all apartments viewed, are extremely well presented. The car parking area is well maintained, and there is ample facility for the number of apartments. ‘Check ins’ are always via a meet & greet at the property and a full tour of the apartment and details as to the facility contents are provided.
The apartments are extremely spacious, comprising a bedroom/suite with TV, large lounge/drawing room and all have separate kitchens. A well-presented and detailed guest information pack is provided, including sections on Entry, Security and Safety, Emergency Contact Numbers, Fire Instructions, Cleaning & Care, WiFi, TV and Telephones and Facilities. There is also useful local information included together with a section on Craven House history.
A generous welcome pack is provided (bread, fresh milk, cereals, biscuits, preserves, tea bags, coffee sachets sugar sachets) and this is often varied according to guest profile. Also provided is a generous supply of kitchen washing up/cleaning products and complimentary toiletries. The housekeeping team should be congratulated for presenting the apartment to such a high standard in terms of cleanliness, order and aesthetic presentation.”
I am delighted with the report and really proud of the comments received. We achieved a fantastic 93% for our housekeeping services! At Craven House, we pride ourselves on our can do attitude – nothing is too much trouble. Ensuring our guests have the most enjoyable, stress-free and comfortable stay is my number one priority and this score reflects this.
We now look forward to what the Autumn will bring as well as preparing for our Christmas season. I can’t quite believe we are only a couple of months away from the festive period, so please do call me to discuss any requirements – whether it’s having extended family to stay or if you are planning a trip to London.
Best wishes
