Well, it’s been another interesting year, hasn’t it? If someone had told me, two years ago, that we would spend 2020 and 2021 in various phases and stages of lockdown and pandemic fatigue I’m not sure I would have believed them, and yet, here we are!
It’s been a challenging season for the travel industry and it goes without saying that we are so thankful for your continued support. We’ve loved being your Hampton Court home-away-from-home and welcoming so many of you into our cosy, luxury serviced apartments in South West London. Thank you for choosing us for your getaways, your temporary home when your actual homes were undergoing renovations, your boltholes from the busy city, your business trip spots and your staycation accommodation. It’s been our honour to play host to many reunions and celebrations – it’s about time those special events started up again. We’re so grateful to each and every one of you who have stayed, booked and visited during the year.
We believe looking after our planet serves as a gift to you all. So, this year we have gifted 500 square meters of woodlands by supporting the National Trust in their aim to plant and establish 20 million trees by 2030.
We’ve also been busy with some sprucing up. Craven House has had a fresh lick of paint, we’ve installed an electric car charger and upped our cleaning regimes to make sure you feel safe and secure when you stay in our serviced apartments. And with your own front door, contact free check-in, no shared spaces, large rooms and fully equipped kitchens it’s no contest when it comes to choosing your accommodation for a little getaway. Serviced apartments are really having a moment, and the pros far outweigh those of the traditional hotel setup, especially in the current climate.

Despite the challenges of the last twelve months we’ve made it to the festive season – and thank goodness for that! And unlike last year, this year we’ve got a real Christmas to look forward to. With masks at hand, we’re able to gather together with friends and family, far and near, tables laden with delicious food, crackers, crowns and much merriment. And of course, the mandatory post-Christmas lunch walk through the frosty afternoon. We might even get snow! Now wouldn’t that be a Christmas miracle. Hampton Court is quite the splendid sight dusted in a fresh snowfall.
If you’re still looking for somewhere to stay, to gather your friends, family and furry pets together for the New Years celebration then please do get in touch. We’d be so honoured to welcome you into our apartments at the happiest time of year.
I hope that December holds much magic and merriment for you and yours.
With best wishes for a splendid festive season and a peaceful 2022,
