Christmas at Craven House

Lucy Schiel December 3, 2015

It’s never too early to put the decorations up so this week the Christmas sparkle arrived at Craven House.

As I mentioned in my previous blog, I have been lucky enough to work again with Angela from Cocoon Home Styling and Deborah from Attic. As the saying goes “out with the old and in with the new” and since our big refurbishment back in the Summer, it was time I updated all of our Christmas decorations so that they complemented the new look and feel of Craven House.
Earlier this week, I met Angela and Deborah at Craven House to begin hanging some wonderful ornamental pieces that really do fit so well in all of our apartments. You’ll see some of my favourites below. It was great to work with these wonderful ladies again. Here’s what they had to say:
“Craven House is already a magical place at this time of year with the reindeer in Bushy Park to one side and the festive Hampton Court Palace with its ice rink on the other. We have used neutral Christmas decorations with gold and silver sparkle and twinkling lights to appeal to most guests…

..We especially love the lit up stars which we have placed on the front windows on the ground and first floors…

…Creating banners with glitter letters spelling out ‘Merry Christmas’ makes a lovely festive announcement and we have used this in some of the living rooms…

…We couldn’t resist the large ice skates decorations in the gorgeous fireplace in the Lower Garden Suite

…Guests will surely be tempted to have a go across the road at Hampton Court Palace and return for a cosy hot choc. Turn off the main lights and enjoy the cosy Christmas lights. Happy Christmas!”

A huge thank you from me to Angela and Deborah from Attic. Our luxury apartments look festive and wonderful. Same time next year ladies?!
We have availability over the holidays. If you book a stay in December, I’d be happy to offer you a ‘festive’ rate. Give me a call me to discuss your requirements.
Best wishes
