Craven House, Hampton Court is a magnificent landmark building with a striking Georgian façade adjacent to the world famous Hampton Court Palace, just a short stroll from one of the most beautiful stretches of the River Thames.

 

Craven House is steeped in history offering mesmerising views over Royal Bushy Park with its roaming deer and breath-taking natural backdrop.

Access

Craven House is a Georgian building so we are somewhat governed by its beauty but also some restrictions. There are steps to enter every apartment, however once inside each apartment everything is on one level. The main guest stairs have handrails on both sides of the staircase.

Sustainability

At Craven House, we are committed to working diligently to preserve our world and heritage. Here are the steps we are taking:

  • To reduce energy we use LED light bulbs, controlled by movement activation in common areas
  • Purdy and Fig cleaning products, known for their natural ingredients and reusable containers, paired with washable cloths, are used for cleaning
  • Weekly cleaning is provided but if you do not wish to have towels and robes changed then please hang them therefore minimising water usage
  • Rubbish is recycled - blue bags for card and paper, black bags for glass and metal - we encourage you to cherish the biodiverse areas that surround us
  • EV charger provided for electric vehicles on request
  • Our guests and staff are encouraged to travel sustainably by walking, cycling and using the fantastic public transport in the area where possible
  • We ask guests to be mindful of electric and heat usage by conscious use of lights and heating
  • We value the cultural heritage of Craven House and its surrounding area, enabling us to offer our guests an authentically local experience
