This week marks the 10th anniversary of Craven House! Whilst I still can’t quite believe it, I can look back with pride on how far we’ve come. Of course I would say Craven House is stunning, but it really is! A stunning Georgian building especially as it backs onto Bushy Park in Hampton Court.
I remember it like yesterday – the day Ivo and I moved in to Craven House. It was a late Summers day in September 2006, my daughter Rose was just over one and just about walking! Back then, we started with 3 serviced apartments, the Court Suite, the Park Suite and the Studio and, for the next 4 years, we lived in the rest of the building. We worked hard building the business up in what was a tough industry, but it was good fun. Luca, my son, arrived into our world in 2007 so we had the joys of juggling parenting whilst running Craven House. In 2010, we converted our living area into 2 further apartments – the Upper Garden Suite and the Lower Garden Suite. This gave us 5 lovely apartments to promote but of course meant that we had to leave and find a new family home.
Craven House has been through big changes in the last 10 years. In particular, in January 2015, we decided we needed to undertake a major refurbishment of the whole building in order to keep up with changing tastes. Around the same time, we purchased a property in Claygate to renovate into what now is our No 8 Springfield and No 8A The Terrace apartments. These 2 super suites are our latest edition to the Craven House Collection and taking us to having 7 serviced apartments in total.
We wanted to get all apartments renovated with minimal disruption for guests, so we gave ourselves a very tight timescale but the results were amazing and we have received plenty of compliments since.
My number one priority has always been customer service. At Craven House, we pride ourselves on our can do attitude and this is something I have strived to maintain over the years. And it’s paid off.

We then went on to be awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2016 which accounts for the

Of course, it’s not just me that’s kept Craven House going all these years! Lisa is our wonderful housekeeper who looks after all the apartments, making sure they are well stocked and beautifully clean at all times. It’s so important to us that our guests feel happy, relaxed and at home whilst they stay with us.
It’s been a great 10 years. A huge thank you to all our past, present and future guests. We love having you and looking after you whilst you stay with us at Craven House. In addition, thank you to all the agents and clients I have worked with over the years – it’s been an absolute pleasure.
Here’s to the next 10 years of Craven House!
Best wishes
