Craven House picks up 2017 ROSE Award

Lucy Schiel October 19, 2017

We are delighted to have been awarded the 2017 Rose Award from VisitEngland this week. The Rose Award is given to only 100 businesses per year for ‘Recognition of Service Excellence’ (ROSE) and as you can imagine, I, and the Craven House team are extremely proud.

VisitEngland announced the launch of the ROSE awards a few years ago and is a new industry honour. Designed to showcase those establishments that provide the warmest of welcome where the owners, managers and staff really know how to delight their customers, irrespective of their star rating, style or type of accommodation. Celebrating the teams and owners who ‘go that extra mile’, the awards are unique in that recipients can advertise their accolade as long as they remain in VisitEngland’s quality scheme.
Craven House was nominated by VisitEngland quality scheme assessors and selected from assessor comments and online feedback from overseas and domestic visitors. So a huge thank you to all our past and present guests!
VisitEngland Director Andrew Stokes said:
“It’s great to see the diversity and quality of accommodation available across the country with each of these winners demonstrating outstanding customer service. And it’s this level of commitment to ensuring visitors have the best experience combined with the amazing range of settings and attractions that have domestic and international visitors out exploring and spreading the economic benefits of tourism throughout the country.”
The ROSE Awards celebrate the teams and owners whose efforts surpass expectations and the recipients can advertise their accolade as long as they remain in VisitEngland’s scheme.

Best wishes
