This week, Lucy tells us about why she loves…The Upper Garden Suite…which is one of the luxury serviced apartments at Craven House, Hampton Court.
There are 5 apartments at Craven House in Hampton Court. Which is your favourite?
All of our apartments have their own special reasons for being a favourite. But, if I have to choose, it would be the Upper Garden Suite.

So, tell us why this apartment is special?
Since the full refurbishment of all our apartments this time last year, we have managed to reuse the space in a much better way to create a wonderful family area. The Upper Garden Suite sits level with the grounds of Royal Bushy Park and has numerous windows so the views are just to die for. Did you know there is a balcony in every room?! It’s light and airy rooms, practical living space (a lot of space!) and use of the courtyard garden make it a very special apartment.

What your favourite feature in the Upper Garden Suite?
It has to be the Emperor sized Ralph Lauren Bed. It’s just luxury! That, along with the bed linen which is from the boutique range at Richard Hanworth, I would sleep there every night if I could! If I were to add a second item, it would be the statement antler light in the living area. We found this at Alexander & Pearl who have some amazing lighting.

Is the decor in all your apartments important to you?
I have always has a keen interest in interior design, so yes the decor is very important to me. The key priority for the Upper Garden Suite, was that the design didn’t fight with the amazing views so we went with a neutral, natural palette – grey tweeds, cream woods, brown leather and copper touches. I want Craven House to feel like a ‘home from home’ and not a hotel so, the common factor across apartments is that they all feel cosy, stylish and homely.

What else can you tell us about the Upper Garden Suite?
The Upper Garden Suite is a sympathetic, spacious, light and airy space to live in. In fact, all our luxury apartments at Craven House are extremely spacious with stunning high ceilings and beautiful windows. There are ample reading lamps with side tables, plenty of storage space and comfortable areas to sit at to work, eat and relax.

Our beautiful Upper Garden Suite is a stunning apartment with nearly 100m2 of living space and a balcony in every room. It has a beautiful open plan kitchen / living room. Adjacent is the master bedroom and with an en-suite bathroom suite. There is a separate toilet area and sofa bed. Guest have shared use of lovely courtyard garden. Sleeps 4.
