Travelling with pets can make it tricky to find a place to stay but I’m always happy to welcome your furry friends here at Craven House.
Here’s a few reasons they’ll be happy to tag along:
The Garden Suites and studio apartment in Hampton Court and No. 8. Springfield in Claygate, all have access to lovely gardens which are perfect for larger pets – or smaller pets who like to be outdoors! Our studio apartment is also welcoming to pets. We’ve already played host to dogs, guinea pigs and even fish! With stone floors, leather sofas and plenty of space our apartments are family-friendly AND perfect for your pets, whether you’re on holiday with the whole family or looking for something temporary while your home undergoes renovations.
Location, location!
Royal Bushy Park, London’s second biggest, is right on our doorstep. Boasting many a wild wander and beautiful walk it really is a dog’s dream come true! It takes about two hours to walk the length of the park and cycling is allowed on roads making it ideal for a fresh outing with pups in tow. Home to wide expanses of grassland, woodlands, ponds and streams, dogs are allowed off their leads in the main areas but do keep an eye out for Bushy’s large deer herds, especially the stags during rutting season. And for the humans? The Pheasantry Café serves delicious food for before or after your walk and there’s also a refreshment point in the Diana car park. Add to that a superb playground for the little people and you’ve got a lovely day out for everyone.
Pup-friendly eating
We’re very lucky to have lots of options to choose from when it comes to pet-friendly eating. Paws for Coffee in Hampton Hill is a lovely spot for breakfast and even has a menu especially for dogs. The Prince of Wales pub in Hampton Court welcomes pups of all shapes and sizes – just the stop for a Sunday roast after a wander along the Thames.
Dog Walkers
Being neighbours with Bushy Park, and having Richmond Park just along the river means there are a huge amount of licensed dog walkers working in the area. It’s very easy to organise someone to take your pup for a quick park run and leg-stretch on those days when they might be home alone for a few hours.
The Pet Club
It’s not all about dogs though. The Pet Club in East Molesey is a luxury pet salon run by award-winning groomer Ria and catering to both dogs and cats. After a particularly muddy run or rainy stalk in the garden a good shampooing might be just what your pet needs.
Treat time
We want all of you to feel at home and new environments can be unsettling for animals. We’ll provide a litter box and bowls for food and water if you need them. And If your pet eats a certain type of food or has a fancy for a particular treat please do let me know. At a little extra cost we will do our best to source them and have the fridge stocked for your arrival.
So, if you’re looking for a pet-friendly spot, then take a look at my beautiful serviced apartments and please don’t hesitate to give me a call on 020 8977 6699 if you have any questions.
Best Wishes,
