Read on to discover why Craven House is the ideal choice for your family staycation.
Apartments designed for families, of any size
At Craven House we’ve put a lot of time and effort into designing luxury accommodation to suit every need and family. We have large family-sized apartments as well as spacious one bed boltholes with the option to add a sofa bed should you need it.
When you’re travelling with a group, a serviced apartment really is the way to go. Unlike hotels where you’re all sharing one or two rooms, Craven House offers you the option of the home-away-from-home environment with plenty of living space, a well-stocked kitchen where you can prepare your favourite dishes (or order in!) and comfortable bedrooms. Not only that but we also boast award-winning housekeeping, so your apartment will be cleaned regularly, leaving you to enjoy your stay and explore the area. Finally, should you want to bring your furry friend along we’d be delighted to have them – we’re all kitted out to welcome pets so please do get in touch and let us know they’ll be joining you.
Family-friendly restaurants
Every parent knows that going out to eat with children can go one of two ways – it can be a great experience, or can just be hard work. That’s why families appreciate the flexibility of our apartments, if going out just isn’t an option that day, they have their kitchen at their disposal. But if a meal out is on the cards then you really are spoiled for choice in the Hampton Court and Kingston area. From Pizza Express in Hampton Court to Bill’s and Picnic in Kingston, there’s options for every age and stage of your crew. You can see an in depth review of some of our local favourites here.
Dog friendly walks for the whole family
One of the best things about Craven House (and there are many) is that we back right onto Bushy Park, over 1000 acres of deer park run through with paths, woodlands and streams. It’s the ideal spot for a long walk and you could even stop off at The Pheasantry Cafe in the Water Garden for a bite to eat or hot drink afterwards. Please do check ahead on the website though as there are certain times of year when dogs are required to be leashed because of the deer.
Along with the park, we also have the Thames on our doorstep and the walk along the river is really lovely. If you want more details about having your pups with you at Craven House you can read further here.
Relocating in time for school
It seems unbelievable to be talking about the start of a new school year already but here we are! It will be here before we can blink and we know that many families will be mid-relocation planning in order to be in their new areas before the start of the school year. If that’s you, and you’re looking for somewhere to stay while you house-hunt, have building work done to your home or visit schools, then Craven House is just the spot. With fully furnished apartments that are regularly serviced you’ll have time to focus on all the many things on your to-do list while we take care of the rest. You can read more about the top schools in Surrey here.
We’re happy to help out with whatever you need ahead of and during your stay, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
