We’re big dog people here at Craven House. We know how important our furry family members are and how tricky it can be to find suitable dog friendly accommodation. So we’ve worked really hard to make sure that we can be as accommodating as possible to your pets – big and small. Whether you’re on a staycation, house-hunting or looking for somewhere to stay while your home undergoes a renovation, your pups and pets are welcome here.
Our apartments
All our apartments have pet-friendly flooring and leather sofas making them hard-wearing for energetic pups. The rooms are large and airy and each apartment has access to outdoor spaces for a little run around, a snooze in the sun or a loo break. We’re also so happy to help with any prep ahead of your arrival, if there is a specific type of pet food you need, water and food bowls, beds or litter trays please do let us know and we’ll organise that for you.
Our area
We’re really lucky to be in a great location for pets. With ample local parks and tow paths for exercise and lots of pet-friendly eateries you’ll all feel right at home. Here are some of our favourites:
Dog Health
The Molesey Veterinary Clinic
We’re lucky to be located close to a great local veterinary clinic. The Molsey Clinic is open seven days a week, with 24/7 emergency care available, and just a four minute drive from Craven House.
The Pet Club
We also have The Pet Club for fabulous dog grooming just minutes away on Bridge Road.
Dog-friendly cafes and restaurants in Hampton Court
The Coppernose Cafe
A brand new addition to the Hampton Court highstreet, The Coppernose Cafe has great coffee, delicious snacks (for the adults and the kids!) and is dog-friendly.
PAWS for Coffee, Hampton
The ultimate in dog-friendly cafes, PAWS for Coffee even has a dedicated dog menu. It’s also ideally located for a good brisk walk through Bushy Park. It should take you about 40 minutes to get there from Craven House.
Eight on the River
A lovely little cafe at the Molesey Boat Club – Eight on the River is very happy to welcome your four-legged friends in for a snack. It’s a great spot to stop if you’re enjoying a stroll up the river.
Dog Walks
We really are spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful, dog-friendly walks in and around Surrey. Bushy Park is right on our doorstep and there are countless wanders to be had through its leafy acres. Although please note that it is a Royal deer park and so dogs need to be on their leads during certain times of the year. There are usually signs up at the entrance to the park letting you know.
We also have easy access to the spectacular Surrey Hills, dotted with public footpaths and ponds for a quick canine dip on a sunny day. Denbies Vineyard, just a short drive from Craven House, is a lovely spot to let your pup stretch their legs. And you’ll be able to enjoy a glass of Surrey-grown wine afterwards.
