Our apartments are just the cosy, luxurious, home-away-from-home spot you need whether you’re on a business trip, staycation or romantic weekend away. We strive to offer only the best, which is why we are thrilled to let you know that VisitEngland granted us a coveted Gold Award again this year, and we also retained our four star rating.
VisitEngland is an independent body who visit properties in person to assess and evaluate how they are performing. We were delighted to receive 100% on Cleanliness and Management with everything else scoring very highly. The team specifically mentioned that our housekeeping is of an incredibly high standard and that Lisa, our house keeper, should be commended.
From the outside in, Craven House performed admirably in its inspection. The report noted the work we had done to the exterior of the building saying that Craven House is ‘presenting in particularly smart order’, adding that ‘the new EV charge point will be useful for many guests’. We put a lot of effort into these updates so it was very satisfying to get such a positive response!
Furthermore, the interiors were all rated outstanding. It is always delightful to read positive reviews from our guests, but we also appreciate good ratings from within our industry. To see our apartments described as ‘well-planned’, ‘comfortable and spacious,’ ‘rigorously cleaned’, boasting ‘fine views’ and more is as pleasing as you can imagine.
We were also glad to see that the team appreciated the changes we had put in place to make our apartments as covid-secure as possible. It is of vital importance to us that we are able to keep everyone – from our guests to our staff – as safe as possible, and we want you to feel secure knowing that we take that very seriously. So when the report favourably mentioned our remote or distanced check-in option, plus a ‘very well-stocked’ cleaning pack which is made available to all guests in every apartment, we were thrilled. On a related note, as well as being covid-safe, we take the general safety of our properties very seriously and all our fire safety equipment and emergency lighting is regularly serviced and replaced when necessary.
At Craven House, we’ve always worked hard to reach and maintain incredibly high standards and we know that that involves more than just the big ticket items like beautiful interiors, great location and well-managed properties. To make sure we continue to offer guests a truly luxurious experience we’ve recently introduced some small additions to each apartment, such as new Welcome Cards which include a 10% discount at The Six, a welcome pack including breakfast necessities and yoga mats for each guest to use. Pleasingly, these were also noticed and mentioned in our assessment, with the team referring to the little extras as ‘thoughtful touches’.
These are the things that make your stay really memorable and going the extra mile for our guests has never been a bad idea. We are really happy to have had such a positive rating come through from VisitEngland as the Spring and Summer season are about to kick off.
